* The fee for Nitrox courses does not cover the hire of Nitrox cylinders. If you cannot hire or borrow cylinders you must notify the SDCO so that equipment may be hired on your behalf. You will be notified of the extra charge for this. Minimum requirements are two dive cylinders, one of which must have Nitrox 28 to 36 in it, the other may be on air, plus a separate alternative air source which may be filled with air or Nitrox.

Official forms are not required other than for Nitrox Courses but name, address and phone number should be included along with a cheque for the total course fee payable to BSAC. Applications should be sent as early as possible, and at least two weeks prior to the event and which time the cheques will be sent to HQ with an order for the course packs. We are planning training session on Saturday the 3rd Nov to help those who have completed an Instructor Training Course and are looking at taking an examination. The event will be held at Coalville using the same facilities as a ITC booked for that Weekend. It is expected that the day will cost £5. We have developed this session to update and revise the many skills learned on the Oxygen Administration Course. Several changes to the O2 course have been incorporated including the casualty examination and CPR updates. The session runs for 2.5 hours and can therefore be run on club evenings. Students must have completed the Oxygen Administration Course and Instructors must be approved Oxygen Administration Instructors. The session requires a Manikin & O2 set per group, group size is 3 max and Instructors can take up to 2 groups (6 students) each.
