The 1998 Annual General Meeting will take place in the Crèche at the Sports Centre on Monday 26th October at 7.30pm. Please try to attend.

Besides the usual reports from Club Officers and elections to the Committee, there will be one proposed amendment to the constitution. More details below.

As usual, all Committee posts are up for election, with John Cooper (Diving Officer), Matt Bullen (Treasurer), Clive Evans (Membership Scretary), Darren Mottershead and Andy Bullard (Training Officers) definitely not seeking re-election to their present posts. This is your chance to help and have a prominent say in running the Club. If you wish to propose yourself (or another), let Richard Bellis (01327 311544), Dave Mead (01788 891351) or John Cooper (01788 891617) know as soon as possible. If you need more details as to what a specific post entails, talk to any of the present Committee members.

Committee nominations must be with Dave, Richard or John C by Monday 5th October.

The Committee will be proposing that the Club has an additional membership category of Associate Member. This is effectively a social and swimming membership aimed at ex-members who no longer wish to dive, for whatever reason, but who would still like to be associated with the Club. Full details will be circulated with the AGM agenda.

Any other amendments to the constitution must be proposed and seconded and given/sent in writing to Richard Bellis by Monday 28th September.

This will be circulated to all members early in the week of 12th October.
