BS-AC SAFETY FIRST

We are all aware that many diving incidents happen at the start of the diving season, when many of us a ‘rusty’ after a winter when, at best, we have only dived occasionally.   Safety First is BS-AC’s new scheme to get divers ‘dive ready’ for the new season.

The full programme looks at personal preparation (ie dive fitness, knowledge, skills and planning), equipment, boats and continuing diver education. BS-AC has put together ‘dry’ ‘ScubaWISE’ presentations have been put together for all these areas.   After the presentation divers should be given the chance to test their equipment and refresh their skills in the pool.

The scheme is aimed not only at all diver grades, but can also at non BS-AC divers.   Hence, our evening is going to be open to ANY diver and is being promoted as such. Rugby Divers’ Safety First evening is on ....
