Many thanks to those members who took the trouble to complete and return their questionnaires. 23 were returned with a number of good points and comments were made. 23 is a reasonable return for something like this and they do represent a good cross section of the Club in terms of diver grade and experience. The Committee will discuss the results shortly.

TYPE OF DIVING
A notable preference for boat diving, and whilst hardboats and the
RIB were both very popular, the hardboats 'won by a short head'.
DO CLUB TRIPS CATER FOR YOU?
Of the 20 replies, 18 said 'yes' and 2 'no'.
Comments were made that there should be more information about the trip and diving on the noticeboard list, more day trips and shorter surface intervals to allow time for sightseeing etc.
Most members replying (16) made use of the Club RIB.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT COURSES
There was considerable interest in running more of these 'in Club'
if at all possible, especially the Oxygen Administration and VHF
Radio courses.
| SOCIAL EVENTS | |
| Event | Number who would attend |
| Annual dinner | 19 |
| Barbecue | 21 |
| Christmas meal/event | 14 |
| Treasure hunt | 10 |
| Pub evening | 15 |
| Other events suggested included go-karting, ski-ing, quad-biking,
an underwater treasure hunt and 10 pin bowling. Do we have any volunteers for organising these? | |
OTHER COMMENTS MADE
A few other comments were made mostly
connected with training (eg we must keep poolside briefings short and
to the point get trainees in the pool quicker) and how we can get more
people involved in instructing.
